Digital Shorts for the UK Film Council

Sort Of...Films produced two digital shorts for Screen Yorkshire and the UK Film Council. The films were co-produced with Picture Palace North, the Sheffield-based company behind The Acid House, Tales from a Hard City and F*****g Sheffield.

You're Nobody was a 5 minute, light-hearted story about two lonely souls connecting and was written by Andrew Vickers and directed by Anton Short.

Black | Blue was a 6 minute action/police story about a young British policeman struggling with his cultural identity. The film was written and directed by Matt Taabu.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje in Black|Blue. Adewale is best known for his significant roles in major Hollywood films such as The Bourne Identity and The Mummy Returns and most recently for his starring role as Mr Eko in hit TV series Lost. Adewale agreed to take part in the production for a very small fee because of the quality of the script and the project as a whole.
